“Vidyadhar Surajprasad Naipaul” (V. S. Naipaul) is a British writer and was born on 17th August, 1932 in Chaguanas, Trinidad and Tobago. He started his writing career with the novel “The Mystic Masseur” which was published in the year 1957. He won many awards including the Nobel Prize for Literature (2001) and Bookers Prize (1971).
