Cats may be known to do many curious things, but playing super hero is not usually one of them – especially if an extra ferocious dog is the one causing the all of the problem. Meet HERO CAT. This little feline may not look like much to the unsuspecting eye but when a dog attack surprises a young boy in her family, she becomes as courageous as a roaring lion king and makes a quick counter-attack to rescue the child, potentially saving his life with complete success in a brave maneuver that is really an impressive feat. This young boy in Bakersfield, Calif. was innocently playing on his bike in front of his family’s home.

Hearing the nearby boy, this vicious dog heads around the car and goes straight into attack mode.

Sneaking quickly up behind the distracted child, this dangerously aggressive animal literally charges at the boy.

Pulling him off of the bike in a quick onslaught, the violent dog grabs the child’s leg in his teeth and starts dragging the boy around in circles.

Hearing the screams of the young child, HERO CAT quickly leaps into action and charges like a feline ninja directly into the attacking dog, throwing him off the boy.

Running madly after the retreating dog until it has been chased away, this clever cat then decides to pull a fast U-turn and make his exit underneath the family car. James Bond simply couldn’t have done it any better.

According to reports in the press released after the attack, the dog has been apprehended and will apparently be euthanized.
